Enjoying the Welsh Country side?
Don’t let thieves ramble away with your valuable possessions.

North Wales is well known for its beautiful countryside, lakes, mountains and beaches . Thousands of people come to North Wales each year to enjoy swimming and water sports, walking and climbing various mountains and to take in the scenery. It is one of the safest low crime areas in Britain.

We would not wish to see your enjoyment of the area marred in any way, so if you are planning a day out in North Wales, make sure you take care of your belongings - otherwise someone else might!

Please don’t leave valuables in view when leaving your car unattended as this might encourage someone to brake in and spoil your day .

When leaving your car unattended, make sure you take the following steps.

  • Try and park your car in designated well frequented parking areas.

  • Don’t leave anything on display. If you must leave valuable items in your car, put them well out of sight, preferably locked in the boot.

  • Lock all doors, close all windows and shut the sunroof every time you leave your car - however briefly.

  • Most car thieves want easily portable items including car stereos or Sat Nav systems . Always remove these or at least take the face off and take it with you. Never keep them in your car's glove box!

  • Most of all, remember to enjoy your self. North Wales is one of the safest areas in the Country but please don't give opportunist thieves the chance to spoil your visit.
